What to Prepare Before a First Consultation

You have a case that needs a window cut, a loop that refuses to bleed, or a GPU that throttles the moment the afternoon heat hits. Before you book a consultation, there are a few things worth gathering so the call actually moves the build forward instead of turning into a guessing game.

Start with your current hardware list. Model numbers matter more than brand names. A B450 board from one vendor handles voltage offsets differently than the same chipset from another, and that difference changes what we can safely recommend for a tropical climate. Write down the exact CPU, motherboard revision, RAM kit, and the cooler you are running right now.

Next, take photos of the interior. Good lighting, no cable clutter hiding the board. We need to see how the current loop routes, where the pump sits, and whether the radiator has room to breathe. A single clear shot of the front intake and the top exhaust tells us more than a paragraph of description.

If you have thermal readings, bring them. HWiNFO logs from a typical evening session, idle and under load, with ambient temperature noted. In Pune or Chennai, ambient swings of eight degrees between morning and evening are normal, and that range changes how we interpret your delta. Without the ambient number, a 75-degree core reading means very little.

Finally, set a budget range and a deadline. Not a precise figure, just the shape of the project. Are we replacing the pump, adding a second radiator, or rebuilding the whole loop with hardline tubing? Knowing the scope helps us tell you which parts are worth importing and which are better sourced locally, so you are not waiting six weeks for a fitting that a shop in Nehru Place stocks.

Bring those four things and the consultation becomes a working session.
