Put the T-fitting at the lowest point, which is the pump inlet in your case. A drain at the reservoir leaves a lot of coolant trapped in the radiator and tubing. I learned this the hard way when I tilted my case and spilled coolant over the GPU backplate.
Also consider a ball valve with a barb fitting so you can attach a short hose. Makes the drain much cleaner. I used a 3D printed bracket to hold the valve in place so it doesn't rattle against the PSU shroud.
